Judie Gumm is celebrating 50 years of designing jewelry. The Ester-based artist creates sterling silver, bronze and pewter earrings, pins and necklaces. Her nature-inspired designs, which are sculptural in detail, are created using the lost-wax casting process.

Judie has over 300 pieces in her line. “After 50 years, I still love what I do, but I could not do it alone without the committed help from my staff,” she said. “Through the many changes of our business over these years, our mission remains the same, to create distinctive, nature-inspired jewelry, hand-crafted for a lifetime of enjoyment at an affordable price.”

Judie enjoys supporting KUAC because she learns more about the world through public television programs that inform and educate. She loves “Antiques Roadshow,” “Poldark,” “Masterpiece,” “Mystery,” “The News Hour” and the Create cooking programs.
