KUAC Community Advisory Council

Are you a KUAC devotee? Is your radio or TV dial permanently fixed on our stations? Would you like to increase your involvement with the station?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, we invite you to apply for a position on the KUAC Community Advisory Council. The council as a whole meets twice a year with ad hoc meetings as needed, and you can expect frequent email communication. Terms are three year with elections in June with and the new term starting in September. The application is below. For more information, call 907-474-1891.

  • Please answer the following three questions:
  • How many years have you been a viewer/listener of KUAC?

On a scale of 1 to 4, with 4 being the highest, how important is public broadcasting to your quality of life?

Again on the same scale, how important would you estimate public broadcasting is to your community's well being?
  • On how many organizations have you served as a volunteer and how long were your terms of service?

Have you ever volunteered in a leadership capacity before? Please provide examples.

What experiences made volunteering rewarding and what experiences made it frustrating?
  • Please list, in order of importance, the three top qualities you feel are essential for a representative on the KUAC Community Advisory Council.

What particular skills or talents will you bring to the Council?
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
