As we head into the last weekend of KUAC TV’s Spring Fundraiser, we look back at the smashingly good Poster Signing event that launched it and can see how fun it is to support public television! It’s also vitally important, because KUAC TV depends on you, our viewers and community, to make our mission possible.
KUAC TV’s innovative fundraising method is unique among public television stations. At Outside conferences and meetings, staff members often hear from other stations, “We wish we could fundraise without interrupting regular programming.” Alaskans told us that’s what they wanted, and we listened, with positive results since we changed our fundraising method four years ago.
