  • IRA/DAF
    • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) and Required Minimum Deductions can be made through your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). These gifts are the savviest way for individuals age 70½ or older to use their IRAs to maximize their charitable impact for KUAC.
    • Many donors have worked with their families or advisors to create a donor-advised fund (DAF). It is like an investment account that is set up for the sole purpose of supporting charities. Individuals can contribute cash, stocks, or other assets to the DAF and receive an immediate tax deduction. Those funds are invested for tax-free growth and the individual can recommend donations to charities of their choice over time. No gifts or services with a Fair Market Value greater than $0 may be received in exchange for these types of gifts and your financial institution receipts your giving, not KUAC.

    • Contact Ashley Holloway, KUAC donor services manager, at 907-474-7279 to provide information for your brokerage firm. Once secured, please contact Ashley again to provide number of shares you intend to donate and on what date so she can provide the KUAC Friends Group Brokerage Account information.
  • Gifts-In-Kind
    • KUAC accepts gifts-In-kind that are in keeping with the delivery of our broadcast mission. If you have items that you think KUAC might need or would like to find out what kinds of items KUAC is looking for, please contact Gretchen Gordon, KUAC general manager, at 907-474-1891. Gifts-In-Kind donations are receipted by description; it is the donor’s responsibility to have items valued.
