Simard Automotive is KUAC’s February Corporate Support Champion
Simard Automotive has been serving Interior Alaska since 1997. Owners Mike and Jenny Simard started the business because of their passion for helping drivers feel safe, competent and empowered.
The company provides personalized service though a quality comprehensive inspection process, empowering customer through education. Simard contributes to the community by providing a unique choice for service as well as providing steady employment to its workers.
Mike Simard serves on the UAF Community and Technical College’s auto technician education board. He remains passionate about providing an alternative for auto and truck service. “We provide a no-pressure experience where we hope the customer feels in control of their transportation service and repair decisions,” he said. “We recognize the importance of a reliable vehicle in our harsh arctic climate.”
Simard Automotive is a long-time supporter of KUAC and each February signs on to help assure KUAC provides Yukon Quest coverage. “We love to support the mission of public radio in providing education and communication to the local area, through inspirational and informative programs,” Mike said.
Simard has two locations in Fairbanks, the original shop on Western Avenue off Dale Road and the new one downtown on Gaffney.
