KUAC TV has provided Alaska with over 40 years of public television, and is seen on cable systems and translators throughout the Interior, providing quality educational and entertaining programs 24 hours each day. The most popular PBS shows and Alaska-themed programs are hallmarks of the service KUAC TV proudly offers its viewers, who support the station and its exceptional, high-quality programming.
For 17 years, KUAC provided programming and service to nearly all public television viewers in the state outside of the South-Central region through the AlaskaOne network. In 2012, KUAC returned to its roots, and now public television to Juneau and Bethel and their translator communities originates out of Anchorage.
