Golden Heart Emergency Physicians is locally owned and operated by board-certified practicing physicians. Started in 2008, the group offers a broad range of expertise in emergency medicine and urgent care.
These professionals are on staff in the Emergency Department at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help people through acute care needs.
Golden Heart Emergency Physicians provides a cohesive group of emergency physicians and physician assistants committed to offering high caliber, compassionate emergency care services to the Fairbanks community, Interior Alaskans and visitors.
“Our 10 physician partners have over 100 years combined experience living and practicing emergency medicine in Fairbanks,” said Dr. Michael Burton. “Our corporate structure maximizes benefits to our patients, our community and our providers by emphasizing the balance between practicing medicine and a sustainable quality of life. We employ six experienced physician assistants who have been trained in emergency medicine by our board-certified group. Combined they have over 40 years’ experience living and practicing emergency medicine in Fairbanks.”
