The KUAC 14th annual Red Green Regatta on Sunday, July 25 featured 89.9 floatable crafts (one sunk off the starting line) and a memorable awards presentation by U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

AK Shorts, a new upcoming AlaskaOne program celebrating amateur Alaskan filmmakers, is encouraging short film submissions. The creative talents of individual filmmakers will be afforded broadcast television exposure throughout much of the state of Alaska when AK SHORTS is launched.
