On Facebook, you can tap your toes to videos of musical guests on KUAC’s “Alaska Live” or peek at photos from inside the studio after they’ve performed and chatted with host Lori Neufeld. Find out about upcoming AlaskaOne television programs, FM happenings and other good stuff.

Non-profit organizations do so much for Alaska. All qualified non-profits in the state are welcome to submit Public Service Announcements about events and services that might be read on the air by KUAC-FM hosts by emailing them to psa@kuac.org or faxing them to 907.474.5064. Highest number of vessels ever!

The KUAC 14th annual Red Green Regatta on Sunday, July 25 featured 89.9 floatable crafts (one sunk off the starting line) and a memorable awards presentation by U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Watch for an upcoming announcement of the 2010 Red Green Regatta winners, including photos, a complete list of volunteers, sponsors and all others who made the event a HUGE success! (You know who you are – and soon, so will everyone else!)

AK Shorts, a new upcoming AlaskaOne program celebrating amateur Alaskan filmmakers, is encouraging short film submissions. View the promotional piece on YouTube which has begun airing on AlaskaOne. The creative talents of individual filmmakers will be afforded broadcast television exposure throughout much of the state of Alaska when AK SHORTS is launched.
