StoryCorps
KUAC celebrated 50 years of telling stories that would otherwise go untold with a visit from StoryCorps, October 1-5, 2012!

StoryCorps, a national oral history project, collects stories through personal conversations between two people who know each other well, or want to get to know each other better. A small selection of StoryCorps interviews are edited for broadcast on NPR’s Morning Edition, which airs Fridays on KUAC. All StoryCorps participants received a broadcast-quality copy of their 40-minute interview on CD at the end of their session, and all interviews recorded in Fairbanks are archived in the Library of Congress.
