KUAC FM & NPR

NPR’s election night broadcast special will air from 4 PM-9 PM AST on November 4.  Control of the Senate is up for grabs in this midterm election, and NPR will provide detailed results and analysis throughout the evening.

NPR hosts will be Robert Siegel and Melissa Block. Senior Washington Correspondent Ron Elving, National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson, and Political Editor Charlie Mahtesian will join them in NPR’s DC studio, along with polling experts from the Pew Research Center and outside political analysts.

NPR reporters and correspondents, including National Political Correspondent Don Gonyea, White House Correspondent Tamara Keith, and Congressional Reporter Ailsa Chang will be watching returns at a dozen campaign headquarters nationwide. Scott Horsley will be at the White House, monitoring President Obama’s response to the evening’s results. We’ll also hear from NPR’s Michel Martin, and with a number of newsmakers throughout the evening.

PBS NEWSHOUR ELECTION NIGHT 2014: A SPECIAL REPORT will air at 6 pm AST on KUAC TV.
Majority control of the U.S. Senate hangs in the balance this November and, as voters head to the polls on Election Day, viewers can count on PBS NewsHour for results, context and analysis. Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff will co-anchor the NewsHour’s online and on-air coverage, reporting on the latest updates as polls close across the country.  The PBS NewsHour politics team and an array of special guests will provide in-depth reports, extensive analysis and live results.
