Doyon, Limited is the regional for-profit Native corporation for Interior Alaska, headquartered in Fairbanks, with nearly 18,000 primarily Athabascan shareholders.

As the largest private landowner in Alaska, with over 12 million acres in central Alaska, Doyon is a strong and thriving Native corporation. Its mission is to continually enhance its position as a financially strong Native corporation in order to promote the economic and social well-being of its shareholders and future shareholders, to strengthen their Native way of life, and to protect and enhance its land and resources. Doyon Limited was established in 1971 under the Congressional Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and is one of 13 Alaska Native regional corporations.

Employing more than 2,500 individuals across a dozen states, Doyon understands that community is what matters, and in Alaska in particular they support organizations such as KUAC public broadcasting, the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation, and others. Doyon’s partnership with KUAC is vital as they recognize the value in communicating across such a broad and diverse spectrum of people and places as can be found in Interior Alaska and across the state, and in supporting KUAC they are also giving back to the community in yet another way.
