Bill Moyers Journal final episode is special 90-minute show PBS has extended the final episode of Bill Moyers Journal on April 30, from its regular 60 minutes show to 90 minutes. More information will be sent out closer to the show date.
PBS Kids' Programming Changes
PBS announced that the kids program, "It's A Big, Big World," will stop airing after Friday, April 30th. Starting on Monday, May 3rd, "Sid The Science Kid" will take its place Monday through Friday at noon on AlaskaOne. "Sid" currently airs weekdays at 7:30 a.m. & Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. and will continue airing in those time slots, as well.
Sci Girls takes to the AlaskaOne air waves!
A brand-new science show for and about "tween girls" - pre-teens between the ages of 10 and 12 - showcases bright, curious real girls putting science and engineering to work, as they answer real-life questions and make unexpected discoveries in the world around them. It airs on AlaskaOne at 9 a.m. on Sundays.
