The Yukon Quest celebrates its 29th year as 24 dog teams take off Saturday, February 4th in Fairbanks, Alaska to run 1,000 miles of rugged, challenging terrain to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, following Gold Rush and mail delivery dog sledding routes of olden days.
